Welcome!
My name's Emma Paterson and I'm a senior at Arizona State University. I am studying Journalism with a minor in Political Science at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism. I am currently in my final semester reporting for Cronkite News in Washington D.C., with a focus on borderlands, immigration and politcs. Originally from Newport, Rhode Island, I graduated from Rogers High School in May of 2021. I've also lived in Palma de Mallorca, Spain and Amsterdam. Having the opportunity to travel the world helped form my perspective on world conflicts and the importance of news I have today. I am fluent in all Adobe programs, being NOCTI certified in Advertising in Design. I have also have experience in communication techniques through my internships I've completed over the years. Through these next four years in Arizona, I hope to learn as much as I possibly can to prepare myself for life after college. I hope to either be a writer covering political, world affairs and music or go to law school. On this site, you can check out my resume, articles, photography and assignments I've done throughout the years. |
